Read what our guests have to say!
After a trip to Ireland with my husband and our best friends, Louk & Linda, in 2005 we haven’t stayed in anything other than a B & B, and it’s innkeepers like Patty & Kevin that keep us staying in the B & B’s. You can’t beat their hospitality, friendliness, wonderful home cooked breakfasts and great conversation with the other guests and the innkeepers. The Tea Kettle Inn is by far the best B & B we’ve stayed in not only in the Manheim/Lancaster area but all around in any B & B on the East Coast. My husband loved Patty’s home made zucchini bread so much that she even wrapped the leftovers up for him to take home with us…which he didn’t share. But that’s ok because we’ll be back and I’ll get my share when we return next year. Thanks again Patty & Kevin for opening up you’re home to us. See you soon. – Kathy McGarvey
Wow, how great is this place? My husband and I stayed here for a few days while we were on vacation in some of the adjacent cities, and this place was central to all of them. The price of the place just can’t be beat–and it’s adorable! The place is just lovely, so clean and homey and relaxing. The Innkeepers, Patty and Kevin, are just the nicest people–they engage you in conversation but know when to let you relax on your own and unwind. We stayed in the Chamomile Room which was so charming. I even told my husband that it was one of the most clean rooms I’d even stayed in! The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was clean and updated. Patty asked us every night what we wanted for breakfast and it was always delicious! And what a spread! It was always very filling and very good. Parking is close by so that’s nice too. There is a small refrigerator for your water, beverages or snacks which was helpful. She even had brochures with coupons of local places!
I just can’t say enough good things about this place. Everything was perfect and we were sorry to leave! You will not be disappointed staying here–the price is outstanding, the service is personal and the stay is wonderful!
We stayed here two nights. There isn’t much in Manheim proper except a mini golf course within walking distance, but it is within easy driving distance to everything else. Patty and Kevin are wonderful hosts. We stayed in the Avonlea room. It was one of the cleanest places we’ve ever stayed. Patty took into consideration my husband’s wheat allergy and fixed nonwheat breakfasts while we were there. You get a much nicer stay than you would at a hotel of comparable price. We would definitely stay again if we are in the area.
